My first white wine: Arneis, expressing purity and character.

Langhe DOC Arneis

The tambourine -- an orchestra always needs percussion.

The tambourine -- an orchestra always needs percussion. Every orchestra needs someone to keep the beat. Someone to hold everything together with lightness and precision. Someone who never dominates, but without whom nothing would really work. We chose the tambourine to tell the story of Arneis. Because this native white grape variety plays exactly this role: it accompanies unpretentiously, supports with elegance, and sets the rhythm of the Piedmontese summer with discretion. But also because the tambourine is the instrument of celebration, of folk tradition, of convivial moments.

Il Vino

Our Arneis grows on the soils of Roddi and Rodello, rich in marine-derived components that impart characteristic minerality and savouriness. Hand-harvested, fermented in steel at a controlled temperature, and aged entirely in steel. On the nose, the fresh aromas of pear and grapefruit typical of a young wine give way to yellow peach and honey as the months pass. On the palate, it is a fruity yet rich wine, with a distinct savouriness and mineral undertones. These characteristics set it clearly apart from the average, making it perfect for the entire meal. Best enjoyed young, chilled but not cold.
