A shell, the ancient sound of the sea in the Langhe. C'è un gesto che abbiamo fatto tutti da bambini: avvicinare una conchiglia all'orecchio per sentire il mare. Un suono che ci riporta indietro nel tempo, a qualcosa di ancestrale, di profondo. Questa conchiglia racconta esattamente questo: l'antico rumore di mare delle Langhe. Milioni di anni fa, dove oggi crescono le nostre vigne, c'era un mare profondo. Le Langhe affondano le radici in quella storia lontana. Our Dolcetto comes from the Rodello vineyard, where, thanks to the altitude, summer days are cool but nights are mild. Aged for a year in steel and oak to preserve the fruit and freshness. On the nose, hints of plum and dark cherry combine with notes of wild strawberries. On the palate, the attack is rich and juicy, with an almondy, lingering finish thanks to the grape variety's characteristic tannins. It is best enjoyed young but will also age well for a few years in the bottle. A Dolcetto that deserves respect; Dolcetto is US.
